How to Block Users from Spamming by Sending Many Unwanted Game Invites

June 27, 2012 by All Star Leave a Comment

The quick is answer is you CAN’t!!! There are people abusing Scramble with Friends by sending out multiple invites a day and no matter how many times you decline or ignore you get more. We emailed Zynga about this and they said tough luck. The reasons behind this are unknown but we’re sure it involves a profit and personal incentive. The sad part is the Zynga doesn’t care and after months of this occurring the users (or bots) are still out there with no solution from Zynga. The only surprising part is that Zynga hasn’t created a way to charge for blocking users who spam their games. Maybe they’re busy crafting up another revenue model that scams it’s users again. Do you have someone spamming you? Post their user name in the comment section.
